Unusual Timepieces

Trends and fashions are constantly changing and to keep up with demand watch and clock makers are constantly looking for new and exciting ways of telling the time.

As technology develops and new and improved materials are available on the market, many manufactures are pushing the boundaries to bring us strange and innovative timepieces. Nooka watches, for example, have designed a collection of watches with asymmetrical faces in a range of vibrant colours. Another unusual timepiece, that may not be to everyone's taste, is a faceless watch designed by Roger Kellerberger where a rotating inner ring helps display the time.

German company Abacus have produced an elegant range of minimalist watches with plain faces. They use a small ball bearing, powered by a magnet, to tell time. Other companies renowned for their kooky timepieces include Steampunk and Tokyo Flash. However, if quirky watches are not your thing there are numerous classical and traditional timepieces, from Breil watches to Seiko, available to choose from.
